MTC held their first Parent and Child Doubles tournament on Sunday 6 May. Sixteens pairs came together for a fun day of tennis. Four pools of four played off in a round robin with the top pair qualifying for the semi finals.
Glenda Nicholls and her daughter, Katherine played Nikki Godfrey and her son, Jared in the final. It was a close contest with great tennis from both pairs. Nikki and Jared edged the two ladies 6-3 7-6(5) to win the tournament.
